Kwon RiSe, clad in a traditional Korean hanbok, greeted mourners Sunday from a portrait at her wake.

“Her mother requested this photo, saying RiSe was prettiest in hanbok,” a Polaris Entertainment representative told Yonhap.

The 23-year-old Ladies’ Code member who died Sunday will be laid to rest in Japan where her family is, Polaris said Monday.

Kwon’s funeral will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. in Korea at Korea University Anam Hospital in a Christian service.

Ladies’ Code members Ashley Choi, Kim Zuny and Lee Sojung — who obtained critical injuries in the accident and underwent surgery for her upper jawbone Thursday — will attend the funeral, their second in a week following member Go EunB’s death last Wednesday.

Afterward, another funeral will be held in Japan, where Kwon’s family and close friends reside. She will be laid to rest there, Polaris said.

Despite it being Chuseok, a Korean national holiday, Kwon’s wake was attended by crowds of stars, including those she met during her appearance in the MBC audition program “Star Audition: The Great Birth,” her show mentor and singer Lee Eun-mi, popular television hosts Yoo Jae-suk and Kim Je-dong and a slew of K-pop idols, among them members of Kara, Super Junior, B1A4, ZE:A, TVXQ and SHINee.

A participant of the 2009 Miss Korea beauty pageant, Kwon went on to star in the first season of “The Great Birth” in 2010. She debuted with Ladies’ Code last year.

The Wednesday car accident that took Kwon and fellow member Go EunB’s lives was attributed to a faulty back wheel on the Hyundai Grand Starex and rainy expressway roads by police.

Lee is still in recovery, while Choi and Kim, who had minor injuries, are still receiving hospital treatment.
