Seoul Philharmonic Concert

The Seoul Philharmonic is coming to Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles on April 15 at 8 p.m.

The orchestra, conducted by Chung Myung-Whun, will perform Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 5 and Brahms’ Symphony No. 4 with pianist Kim Sun-wook.

Chung is a conductor with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra who made his debut with the Seoul Philharmonic as a seven-year-old pianist. He has since conducted some of the world’s best orchestras, including the Berlin Philarmonic, the Vienna Philharmonic, the Boston Symphony and the Chicago Symphony.

Kim was the youngest-ever winner of the Leeds International Piano Competition in 2006 at age 18.
