Park Yu-chun to wed granddaughter of dairy founder

April 13, 2017

SEOUL, April 13 (Yonhap) — Singer-actor Park Yu-chun from the popular boy trio JYJ will marry a granddaughter of a local diary founder in September, his star agency said Thursday.

Park recently got engaged to his girlfriend identified only by her family name of Hwang, whom he has been dating since the end of last year, C-JeS Entertainment said, adding that she is a granddaughter of Hong Doo-young, the late founder of Namyang Dairy Product Co.

“She was confirmed to be a member of the Namyang family,” an official at the agency told Yonhap News Agency by phone. He, however, refused to give more information on the wedding and the bride-to-be. Media reports have said that she is the daughter of Hong Yong-hye, second daughter of the late company founder.

“There is no detailed plan for the wedding yet. We ask for your understanding because she is a non-celebrity,” the official said.

Namyang refused to confirm the news on the marriage, saying, “It’s difficult to confirm whether she’s going to marry or not because she has nothing to do with the company’s management.”

Park is known to be absorbed in the thought of marriage.

“He seems to be now deeply in love with the bride-to-be as he said before that he can see nothing other than her,” a close aide to the star told Yonhap. “The bride-to-be stood by Park when he suffered mentally after being accused of sexual assault charges last year.”

Another aide said, “Park wanted to start a stable family rather than come back to the entertainment scene when he is discharged from the military.”

Debuting as a member of the K-pop boy band TVXQ in 2004, Park has expanded his career to acting while working as a member of the boy trio JYJ.

He has starred in the domestic TV dramas “Sungkyunkwan Scandal” (2010), “Rooftop Prince” (2012), “Missing You” (2012) and “Three Days” (2014). He made his silver screen debut with “Haemoo” in 2014.

In June 2016, however, while in the middle of his two-year mandatory military service, Park was embroiled in a scandal as four different women, all working at local bars, lodged complaints against him, claiming he raped them. He was later cleared of the charges but received a heavy blow to his image.

He currently is working for Seoul’s Gangnam Ward Office as an alternative to his military duty. He is scheduled to be discharged from the service on Aug. 26.

yes..I like the basic concepts behind Second Life but it seems incredibly outdated and when I played it was intensely non-intuitive / user friendly to an extent that made EVE look like a game for toddlers. thanks from
