The search continues for Jiwon Lee, the 29-year-old Columbia University dental student who has been missing since last Tuesday.

According to the New York Police Department, Lee was last seen in her Washington Heights apartment around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Lee’s brother, Columbia med school student Matt Lee, has begun GoFundMe.com, a fundraising campaign to hire a private detective. It has raised more than $56,700 as of press time.

Her brother was the last call she made from her phone before it was turned off Wednesday.

Lee, who is a fourth-year dental student, is the president of the university’s American Student Dental Association and is a part-time comedian.

She is described as having black hair and brown eyes and stands 5 feet 2 inches.

Call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477) if you have information.
