Four Korean American chefs were nominated for the prestigious 2015 James Beard Foundation Awards Tuesday.

David Chang saw two nominations: for his highly rated New York eatery Momofuku Noodle Bar in the Outstanding Restaurants category, and for GQ column “David Chang’s Kitchen” in the Food-Related Columns category.

Parachute, a Chicago restaurant owned and operated by Chef couple Beverly Kim and husband John Clark, received a Best new Restaurant nomination.

Kim and Clark are “Top Chef” alums.

Corey Lee, Benu chef in San Francisco, received a Best Chef: West nod, as did Joule’s Rachel Yang in the Best Chef: Northwest category.

Lee, who earned three Michelin stars for Benu last year, was the winner of JBF’s 2006 Rising Star Chef award.

Yang, who operates Joule with husband Seif Chirchi, was a Rising Star Chef nominee in 2009.
