PLACENTIA (CNS) – A traffic stop early today led Placentia police to recover the drugs ecstasy and Ketamine and to shut down a marijuana grow.

An officer with a service dog pulled over a vehicle for a traffic infraction on the westbound Riverside (91) Freeway at Raymond Avenue about 1:50 a.m. today, Placentia police Lt. Eric Point said.

Police recovered the Ketamine and ecstasy from the vehicle and through a search of an office in the 2200 block of Via Burton in Anaheim officers found a marijuana grow operation, Point said.

Authorities seized 432 marijuana plants and about 10 pounds of finished product, Point said.

Nam Baek, 33, and Joo Kim, 31, both of Los Angeles, were being held in lieu of $25,000 bail, according to jail records.

They were booked on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and cultivation and transportation of marijuana, according to Point.
