K-pop fans from all over flock in to get front-row seats for Korean Music Festival

Korean Music Festival fans who came to purchase the tickets are showing their enthusiasm.

They are coming from all over the place to buy The Korea Times Music Festival tickets. Even all the way from Alaska.

Tickets for the 12th Korea Times Korean Music Festival, the biggest Hallyu music celebration in the United States, went on sale on the first day of February at 10 a.m. and a diverse set of K-pop fans formed a long line at the Korea Times building to make sure they get their hands on the very best tickets available.

They were waiting to get front-row seat tickets for the annual concert, which costs from $200 to $300.

One 23-year old K-pop fan named Cathy bought three pool circle tickets rights in front of the stage said “I flew in from Anchorage, Alaska, and I’ll back in May with my mother and a younger sister.” She said she became a K-pop fan after seeing YouTube videos, and she’ll be attending the Hollywood Bowl show for the fifth straight year.

Another fan identified as Jim said it will be a treat to see the Korean artists right in front of eyes after only seeing them in likes of Arirang TV.

More than 800 front-row tickets have been sold online just in two-days.

The outdoor Hollywood Bowl event, which has become an annual cultural festival for Korean Americans and continues to sell out every year.

Tickets for the 12th Korea Times Korean Music Festival are available at the Korea Times office (4525 Wilshire Blvd.) and online at ktmf.koreatimes.com. Prices range from $25 to $300, depending on location.
