The Los Angeles Dodgers’ Korean left-hander Ryu Hyun-jin will get back on the mound Wednesday in New York. It’ll be his first start in 24 days.

The 27-year-old starting pitcher has been on the disabled list since April 28 because of inflammation in his throwing shoulder.

Ryu is scheduled to face the New York Mets’ rookie right-hander Jacob deGrom, 25. DeGrom was impressive in his Major League debut last week, limiting the New York Yankees batters to just one run and four hits over seven innings, but ended up taking a tough-luck 1-0 loss.

Ryu got off to a sizzling start this year, not allowing a single run in four of his first five starts, but he has cooled off since. His season records currently stands at 3-2 with 3.00 ERA.

The Dodgers (23-22) went 9-10 without Ryu, and finished the weekend five games behind the division leader San Francisco Giants (28-17).
