South Korea’s Special Olympics basketball team got a nice surprise Thursday inside Galen Center at USC when Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Ryu Hyun-jin showed up to show his support.

On another side of USC, the Korean team was treated to a Korean meal by the Korean American Federation of Los Angeles and Korea Sport U.S.A.

The Special Olympics World Games, held this year in Los Angeles, will run through Aug. 2 and host 6,500 athletes from 165 countries.
