‘Operation Chromite’ tops 7 mln in attendance

September 2, 2016

SEOUL, Sept. 2 (Yonhap) — A homegrown film about the 1950-53 Korean War exceeded 7 million in accumulated number of viewers in South Korea on Friday, its distributor said.

“Operation Chromite” hit the milestone at about 2 p.m., on the 38th day of running, according to CJ Entertainment. It became the third Korean film to pass the 7 million mark after “Train to Busan” and “A Violent Prosecutor” this year.

Starring Lee Jung-jae, Lee Bum-soo and Hollywood star Liam Neeson, the historical action flick tells the story of real-life South Korean soldiers who carried out a covert operation to prepare for the daring amphibious Incheon landing operation led by U.S. Gen. Douglas MacArthur.

The landing at the port of Incheon turned the tide of the war in favor of the U.N. forces during the war.

On Sept. 13, the film’s extended edition will open in local theaters, according to the distributor. The 141-minute version is about 30 minutes longer than the original film.

Which made a daring film, this flick seems that itself has reap the fruits of its efforts as all those starred movie stars gasped for a splendid result. An ordinary viewer, who went see that historical flick/film, congratulates those all on its successful hit.

This weak and uneducated world worldling is inquisitively curious to know about the recent condition of Liam Neeson, who was well-known as the elderly movie star among whom played a leading role at that flick. This flick’s success is like “sow seed in the Spring and reap in the Fall.

After all, this weak and mere low-educated world worldling asks him to give a lot of poor world children the tools to overcome their ordeals or difficulties and also, to promote our era’s traditional values like “Humanity + Respect + The innate value of a pure human being”, even though mammonism and the almighty dollar principle were everything from the past to these days. Good luck!

your comment makes absolute no sense. What exactly are you trying to make a point?

Try writing in common sense instead of trying to articulate by using words you have no concept.

      To An anonymous critic,
This plain message never intended to be extoled itself to the skies. Just wanted to allude to a social gossip in order to impart. But its intention to share itself would break away or deviate from its obvious select and criticize.

This so-called world worldling will never be reluctant to embrace all critics. However, this ordinary korean worldling appreciates you criticizing with good intentions. This disnterested and mere low-educated world worldling hopes to have you be the person concerned who can propagate this era’s good immortal maxim toward this world “like” Better the last commentary than the first critic. We human beings know that this world’s all human values and virtues come to those who can care for and have consideration for everyone for everything.

Good luck to you and Always be happy!

      With my regards,
