LG introduces throwback Ice Cream flip phone

LG Electronics announced its latest phone offering called the Ice Cream Smart.

Although the outer-shell might remind consumers of a flip phone straight from the turn of the century, the inside of the device offers quite a bit more than that.

Not only does the phone have a set of traditional physical buttons, but it also works in conjunction with a touchscreen.

Also featured is a Kakao Talk button that lets users jump straight into the app.

At the moment, LG has not revealed any plans to distribute the phone outside of South Korea.

The price is listed at 300,000 won ($278).

The official release date has yet to be announced.
