The 6th Korea Times’ College Expo will take place Aug. 29 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Sa-Rang Community Church in Anaheim, California.

The annual expo invites students and parents to come out for college prep information, advice and activities, from acing the new SAT to tips on admission into top colleges by experts.

This year’s lecturers include Robert Jackson, the former associate director of undergraduate admissions at Yale University and Benjamin Kwak, a former assistant director of undergrad admissions at UCLA.

Phil Mann, head of curriculum at Elite Educational Institute — which will offer SAT answer analysis at the expo following its full-length practice test earlier this month — will give a lecture on the reformed essay and mathematics sections of the SAT.

Richard Myung, chairman and CEO of AGM College Planning, will provide tips on financial assistance.

Other experts will touch on topics including choosing a major, applying to Ivy League schools and internships and volunteering.

Booths with representatives from Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Brown, the University of Chicago and Northwestern, as well as institutions in the University of California system, will be available for students.
