K-pop hopefuls come out to FNC’s global audition in LA

K-pop hopefuls in Los Angeles came out to show off their talents at FNC Entertainment’s global audition held Saturday at the Korea Times.

FNC, which manages CN Blue, FT Island and AOA, saw about 150 people of all races come out to try their hand at taking a first step into K-pop stardom.

Alyssa Choi, 18, said she came to audition in hopes of performing alongside AOA member Seol-hyun.

“I felt a sense of esteem and happiness to see so many young second-generation Korean Americans and non-Koreans wanting to become stars in Korea,” said FNC Marketing Director Kim Sung-han.

Those who pass global auditions have the chance to debut in Korea after a two-year training period.

Auditions will continue in Orange County (May 21), San Francisco (June 6), Seattle (June 13) and Hawaii (June 20).

    Paz come to Louisville i really wanted to became a star and I feel like this is is my last chance of not being a star I love kpop
