A widow received a letter from her recently deceased husband through a resort in South Korea.

According to High1 Resort Tuesday, a letter from a man in his 70s written in October last year was delivered to his family this month, Yonhap reported.

The mailbox he used, called the “1340 slow mailbox,” delays delivery for one year.

The man passed away in June this year.

The letter is written in short sentences — “I love you,” “Let us live happily with love,” “From your loving husband.”

“It feels like his letter came from heaven,” his family said. “We think this letter will become a huge strength to our mother, who is now alone.”
