In Wilshire Bank’s latest charity effort, company executives and employees volunteered to help feed over a thousand homeless individuals in downtown Los Angeles last week.

Among them were Chairman Steven S. Koh, Director Jae Whan Yoo and popular South Korean actor Cha In-pyo along with 50 other bank employees.

The event was co-hosted by The Midnight Mission, a charitable organization that has been helping those in need through volunteer services since 1914.

“There are always people in need of a helping hand around us,” Koh said while promising continued support.

“The best way to help those in need are through service groups in the community,” Yoo said.

He also gave an additional $5,000 to The Midnight Mission to help further its cause.

Wilshire Bank has continuously given back to the community by holding annual health fair at the Good Samaritan Hospital, and teaming up with University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Dentistry to offer free dental treatment services for those who cannot afford them.
