How would you like to join IU and Sistar as a K-pop star with LOEN-Starship Entertainment?

You’ll have a shot at stardom on March 28 for the companies’ 2015 Global Audition, to be held 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Los Angeles Theatre Center and sponsored by the Korea Times.

Judges are looking for both Korean Americans and non-Koreans aged 12 to 25 with talent in singing, dancing and rapping.

Audition categories are singer, rapper, dancer, actor and songwriter/lyricist.

Singer auditions require hopefuls to sing the first verse of any song without a microphone; rappers must rap one verse; dancers must dance for a maximum of one minute, with music provided via CD or MP3; actors must act for a maximum of one minute; and songwriter/lyricists must submit lyrics or a demo file, according to LOEN.

The company is accepting applications via its website through March 27. Additional auditions will be held in Toronto at Innis Town Hall on April 4 at 3 p.m.

LOEN, home to IU and Sunny Hill, is a South Korean record label that operates music site MelOn. It acquired Starship Entertainment, which manages Sistar, K.Will and Boyfriend, in 2013.
