Video for TWICE’s ‘TT’ tops 50 mln YouTube views

SEOUL, Nov. 14 (Yonhap) — The music video for South Korean girl group TWICE’s single “TT” surpassed the 50 million mark in YouTube views on Monday, the group’s agency said.

The video hit the milestone as of 3:40 p.m., 21 days after it was uploaded on the global video sharing service, JYP Entertainment said.

With this, TWICE became the K-pop idol group whose music video passed the mark at the fastest pace. The previous record was 57 days for the video of the group’s “Cheer Up,” out on April 25.

“TT” is the lead track of the group’s third EP “TWICEcoaster:LANE1.”

TWICE recently topped 100 million views on YouTube with the video of its debut single “Like OOH-AHH” while “Cheer Up” is expected to be the second 100 million marker within this week.
