US News & World Report reveals ‘Top 10 Best Value Schools’ for 2016

U.S. News & World Report released a sneak peak into its 2016 rankings for domestic colleges, and shared its “Top 10 Best Value Schools” on Tuesday.

Although the article does not go into what specific values defined each schools place in the list, the bottom line is providing readers with “colleges provide the highest quality education for the lowest price,” according to the publication.

The study looked at over 1,400 schools that fell into the category of “National Universities” that place a focus on “faculty research and offer a full range of undergraduate majors, plus master’s and doctoral programs.”

Brown University (Rhode Island)

California Institute of Technology

Columbia University (New York)

Dartmouth College (New Hampshire)

Duke University (North Carolina)

Harvard University (Massachusetts)

Massachusetts Institute of Technology

Princeton University (New Jersey)

Stanford University (California)

Yale University (Connecticut)

A top-10 list for liberal art schools was also provided ranked primarily on the quality of undergraduate education.
