The Hong Myung-bo-led South Korean National soccer team got completely embarrassed in Texas Wednesday night against Mexico.

S. Korean side had beaten Costa Rica in Los Angeles just four days earlier, but was no match for Mexico. They got dominated in the time of possession battle from the beginning, and allowed two goals each half during a 4-0 rout.

Oribe Perralta scored the first goal in 37th minute, and Alan Pulido completed the hat-trick with a stoppage time goal for Mexico.

S. Korea had chances early in the game, but could not capitalize on Lee Keun-ho’s speed.

It was the worst defeat S. Korea has suffered in 12 matches since Hong Myung-bo took the reins last summer.

On Saturday, S. Korea will face the U.S. in Carson, California.
