SEOUL (Yonhap) — South Korean boy band EXO has won four prizes in this year’s Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA), one of the major K-pop music honors.

The 12-member group received the singer and album of the year, two of the three top honors up for grabs, as well as the best male band and the best Asian style awards during the 2014 MAMA held at the Hong Kong Asia World Expo Arena on Wednesday.

This marked the second consecutive year that EXO has received the MAMA album of the year award.

“We don’t use the word satisfaction so easily. This comes out of the thought that we should perform better in the future,” Suho, leader of the group, told reporters after the ceremony.
