South Korean A-list actress Lee Young-ae has donated funds to fully support an upcoming military concert for the nation’s non-commissioned officers, Yonhap reported.

According to the Non-Commissioned Officer Academy Friday, Lee gave 400 million won, or about $341,700, toward the event.

The concert will celebrate officers’ service by inviting about 4,000 family members of veterans. Popular singers Nam Jin, Park Sang-min and Hong Jin-young are scheduled to perform.

“After hearing that we were putting together a space for veterans who sacrificed their lives and current soldiers who are working hard for our country, Lee Young-ae gave us her full support,” the academy said.

In August, Lee made a personal donation of about $42,000 to two soldiers who were injured in a land mind accident at the DMZ.

The actress looks to make her first acting comeback in 11 years through a television drama, SBS’s “Saimdang, The Herstory,” next year.
