ABC’s “Fresh Off The Boat” received heat on Twitter Tuesday from its own producer Eddie Huang once again who criticized the show for being an “artificial representation” and that “it got so far from the truth that I don’t recognize my own life.”

The show is based off of Eddie Huang’s memoir of the same name, but brushes off some of the more raw and gritty aspects of his own story.

He mentioned “domestic violence” and “suicide” as issues that plagued his family growing up.

Huang berated the show for similar reasons before it aired in February calling it a “cornstarch sitcom.”

Despite the criticisms, the show is performing above average drawing in an average of six million viewers per episode.
