[THE WASHINGTON POST] Monosodium Glutamate (MSG), an additive best known for its use in Chinese restaurants, has had the thumbs up from scientists for quite some time now. But consumers still think of it as dangerous, and many claim to have bad reactions to it. So what’s the deal?

MSG got a bad rap when a scientist coined the term “Chinese Restaurant Syndrome” in a letter to The New England Journal of Medicine. Robert Ho Man Kwok experienced heart palpitations, weakness, and strange sensations of numbness after eating large amounts of Chinese food, and his colleagues decided that MSG must be the culprit.     yes..I like the basic concepts behind Second Life but it seems incredibly outdated and when I played it was intensely non-intuitive / user friendly to an extent that made EVE look like a game for toddlers. thanks from
