ATHENS, Ga. (AP) – Police in Athens say they’ve apprehended two suspects in the killing of a University of Georgia student in what investigators say was an off-campus drug deal.

Authorities say that 21-year-old Min Seok Cho was shot Tuesday, then driven by car to Athens Regional Medical Center. He died at the hospital.

Athens-Clarke County police said in statement Thursday that 21-year-old Cormaine Goss and 18-year-old Andre Ruff, both of Athens, were arrested.

Clarke County Jail records show that both men face murder and aggravated assault charges. The records don’t indicate whether they have attorneys.

Eric Yi, a friend of Cho who also attends UGA, told The Athens Banner-Herald that Cho graduated from Peachtree Ridge High School in Suwanee and was to graduate next year from UGA with an international studies degree.
