Katie Kim is on her way to the top of ‘K-pop Star’

New Jerseyan Katie Kim, 22, entered the top three on South Korean audition program “K-Pop Star Season 4″ Sunday.
Kim’s rendition of Tashannie’s “Day By Day” earned her top praises from the judges — YG’s Yang Hyun-suk, JYP’s Park Jin-young and Antenna Music’s Yoo Hee-yeol.
The show has been responsible for the discovery of big talents like AKMU, Bernard Park, Lee Hi, Sam Kim and Han hee-jun.
The young singer currently attends Berkelee College of Music in Boston.
The next match will air April 5.
