Billboards commemorating Los Angeles Police Department Officer Nicholas Lee, who was killed during duty after being struck on his patrol car by a dump truck last year, were installed by the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund around Southern California.

Lee was a 16-year veteran of the force and a father to two daughters.
