21-year-old phenom Jordan Spieth broke the 36-hole scoring record at the Masters finishing at 14-under after a 6-under 66 on Friday.

The previous record was held by Raymond Floyd who reached the same checkpoint of 1976 Masters with a 13-under total. He later went on to win by eight strokes.

He currently holds a five stroke lead over Charley Hoffman who shot a 4-under 68.

Spieth had six birdies during his bogey-free round. Although he isn’t finding every fairway he’s close to topping the field in greens-in-regulation and his confidence with his putter is something not many others have this week.

“I feel really good this week,” Spieth said. “I’m not very nervous. It’s cool anytime when you set a record, but to do it here is pretty awesome.”

The only other golfer who could match his performance was Kevin Na who also shot a 6-under 66, which put him in tied-for-seventh with a 4-under total.

Na had seven birdies and an eagle, but also had a bogey on each nine.
