K-pop ballad quartet 2AM members’ contracts with JYP Entertainment — with the exception of member Chang-min — are coming to an end in February next year.

The question is, will they renew?

According to Korean media, the members have entered discussions surrounding their contracts.

An industry source said contract renewal for 2AM looks is a likely option, as they still have a lot to show as a team and as individual actors. The source said the relationship between the group and JYP is without conflict.

While Jo-kwon showed off his on-stage talent in the musical “Priscilla” earlier this year, both Seul-ong (“Hotel King”) and Jin-woon (“Marriage, Not Dating”) have focused on television dramas.

Chang-min is the only member whose contract does not come to an end in February.

2AM debuted with JYP in 2008 with “This Song” and have since released a string of hits, including “Can’t Let You Go Even If I Die.”
