Psy’s ‘Gangnam Style’ hits 1.8 billion views on YouTube

South Korean rapper Psy’s “Gangnam Style” hit an all-time record of 1.8 billion views on YouTube on Oct. 23, 2013. “Gangnam Style” peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard chart for seven straight weeks last year. Psy’s new single “Gentleman” has drawn more than 500 million hits on the video-sharing site since its was released in April.
