Internet users are criticizing a group of Korean Protestants who were filmed singing Christians songs at a revered Buddhist temple in India.

A video posted on the website of Beopo Shinmun show the three churchgoers playing guitars and singing “How Great the Love” in Korean at the Mahabodhi Temple in Bodh Gaya, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The clip shows other tourists gathering to the scene before a visiting Korean Buddhist monk interferes.

“How could you act so disrespectfully in this sacred Buddhist temple?” the monk asks the Christians in the video.

The singers retort: “God is our only salvation. We are conveying God’s message to the souls who haven’t been saved.”

The singers leave the scene after the monk tells them she will raise an issue about their actions in Korea.
