Girl’s Day singer Hyeri is lining up lucrative advertisement deals after emerging as a national darling through her appearances on the military-themed reality show “Real Men.”

The 20-year-old has so far signed contracts worth up to eight hundred million won ($760,000) and has many more lined up, according to various reports on Tuesday.

Hyeri may be looking to replace the previous “ad queen”, Suji from girl group Miss A, who has earned the nickname “10 billion won girl” for her ability to land advertisement deals.

However, some say overexposure has hurt Suji’s popularity.

MBC’s Real Men, which started to challenge female celebrities to participate in military training, has become a hit since debuting in August.

Hyeri quickly stole the spotlight on the show with her “down-to-earth” character, which seemed to contrast from public perceptions of pop stars.
