EL SEGUNDO, CA (October 28, 2013) – Korean-language Secondary Audio Programming (SAP) for Lakers games on Time Warner Cable SportsNet will return for a second season, with the first live telecast on Wednesday, October 30 at 7:30 p.m. Time Warner Cable Sports has partnered with Radio Seoul on the Korean-language audio broadcast.

“We heard from an overwhelming number of Korean-American Lakers fans last year who were excited to finally watch Lakers games in their own language and are proud to continue Korean SAP on Time Warner Cable SportsNet this season,” said Mark Shuken, Senior Vice President/General Manager, Time Warner Cable Sports Regional Networks. “Time Warner Cable SportsNet and Time Warner Cable Deportes connect with fans on a whole new level by speaking to them in their language and through fan-driven programming that connects them directly to the team.”

Korean SAP will be available for all live Lakers games and “Encore+” games airing on the network. Commentary will be provided by the experienced Korean-language team of Paul Lee, Young Don Lee, Sang Yeol Moon and Kun Young Shon. More information about the Korean announcers can be found at http://www.twcsportsnet.com/Korean-SAP.

Time Warner Cable SportsNet’s Korean SAP remains the first-ever for English-language television and Time Warner Cable Deportes, Time Warner Cable SportsNet’s sister network, is also the nation’s first-ever Spanish-language regional sports network.
