DUO has conducted an annual survey since 1996, asking 1,000 men and women in their 20s and 30s to describe their ideal marriage candidate.
[THE WALL STREET JOURNAL] Money may not be able to buy true love, but for South Koreans it’s becoming increasingly important for long-term relationships.
According to recent figures by local matchmaking company DUO, more South Koreans want partners with financial security. And DUO says that’s not because Koreans are gold-diggers–it’s because they don’t want their spouses to become over-dependent on them financially. [READ MORE]
