With iconic rock star Seo Tae-ji set to make a comeback next month, Korean television networks are competing for an exclusive interview.

Major broadcasters including MBC, SBS and KBS have reportedly been working to secure an appearance by the 43-year-old singer, who rose to fame in the 1990s and has remained popular since.

Anticipation is high for the new album, which is his first since 2008′s “Atomos Part Moai.” Since he has kept a low profile in recent years, fans are curious both about his music and life.

There will be plenty for Seo to discuss: his divorce with actress Lee Ji-ah, his second marriage to actress Lee Eun-seong, and the birth of his first child in August.

Seo recently announced that he will hold a comeback performance, titled “Christmalowin,” at Jamsil Olympic Park on October 18.
