The 15th anniversary of Kollaboration, which puts on the annual talent show Kollaboration Star based in Los Angeles that has helped launch Asian American stars like Kina Grannis and David Choi, is coming to the Wilshire Ebell Theatre Nov. 15.

Six finalists from U.S. chapter competitions — Chicago, Detroit, Los Angeles, New York, Seattle and Washington, D.C. — will compete for the winning title this year, a Kollaboration press release Wednesday said.

Finalists include Paul Kay, Ang & Glo, The Primaries, Sung Lee, Jett and Paradise.

“Kollaboration’s goal is to promote Asian American entertainers — musicians, comedians, actors, dancers, etc. — on a national scale, allowing them to demonstrate their talents and passions to all audiences, regardless of skin color or gender,” the release said.

A cash prize will be awarded to the winner of the show. Tickets will be available in the next few weeks.
