Boy band EXO graces the cover of Italian fashion magazine

SEOUL, Dec. 7 (Yonhap) — South Korean boy band EXO became the first Asian group to grace the cover of a high-profile Italian fashion magazine, its management agency said Wednesday.

The nine-member act appeared on the cover of the December 2016 issue of the prestigious L’UOMO VOGUE, claiming their fame in Europe as well, according to S.M. Entertainment.

“EXO’s influence goes beyond music to the realm of fashion and style,” the magazine lauded the stars in an article, highly assessing the group’s remarkable records and achievements.

“They do not only rock the world today, but they are also fully fledged for the future,” it added. “The band possess the ability to unite people of diverse nationalities, cultures and languages, posing immense possibilities to extend its dominance to the West.”

The members appear in a vintage-inspired photo shoot taken with film and Polaroid cameras.

The magazine’s latest issue is set to be released throughout Europe, the Americas and Asia.
