Typhoon Goni proved deadly in the Philippines as it took the lives of at least four people. Now it is on its way to South Korea, Taiwan, Japan and even Russia according to Accuweather.com.

The torrential downpour brought over 14 inches of rain to some cities over the course of a night on Friday.

Goni will first pass along Taiwan’s eastern sea border as either a minimal Category 3 or a strong Category 2 hurricane producing winds of up to 50 to 70 miles per hour. The country just experienced what meteorologist’s call a super-typhoon two weeks ago during Typhoon Soudelor.

By early next week, the storm will weaken as its northern tip will cover all of South Korea and parts of the North.

Once Goni reaches parts of Russia, flooding and winds will no longer be a concern for damage.
