Korean American to be named deputy US attorney in New York

Joon H. Kim, Chief of the Criminal Division at the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of New York, will be named to the Deputy U.S. Attorney seat early next week, according to sources.

Kim is expected to be named by Preet Bharara, U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York, June 29.

The promotion would make Kim the highest-ranking Korean American prosecutor in a district position.

After graduating from Stanford University and Harvard Law School, Kim joined the U.S. Attorney’s Office in 2000.

According to the office, Kim counts among his convictions Gambino Family boss Peter Gotti.

Kim will receive a certificate at an event held by the Asian American Bar Association of New York June 30.

    At first, this weak and mere low-educated worldling congratulations on your korean american’s personal glory and pleasure as a highest-ranking US prosecutor promoting and being appointed as. Needless to say, he must play a vital role of letting the two countries break new chapter and take new action so that their global friendship and robust diplomatic realtionships can not only lead itself to a new, new chapter, but also strengthen the bond of the two sides. He as one of your korean compatriots must also contribute to yours long-cherished hungry for the two koreas’ harmony and unification.

    However, this weak world worldling(속인 in korean)would like to ask him to help all his poor northern people, particularly, over 200.000 political prisoners, who were dying like a useless bein at the worst’s infamous prison camps, to enjoy the sense of human rights + democracy + freedom + our era’s real innate value of a pure human being, and also, to let the whole countries know that the cruel north korean military regime’s worst’s human rights situations should not be regarded as merely their internal affairs. And he as a qualified and prestigious personal or korean american must be at the frontrunner for his native country’s vying for the muchier enlightened Korea and craving for a much more closer approachment to the better korean peninsula. We all must never hesitate to make history and promote human harmony and human unity. Good luck!
