Actor Bae Yong-joon reportedly breaks up with chaebol heiress

Hallyu king Bae Yong-joon, 42, has ended his relationship with LS Industrial Systems heiress Koo So-hee, 28, Yonhap reported.

KeyEast Entertainment confirmed the news Tuesday but said they did not know why or when the pair broke it off.

Bae and Koo’s relationship became public near the end of 2013.

Koo, a graduate of Syracuse University and the master’s program of international trade and business at Korea University, is known to have been married once before.

Bae’s dating life was more of a controversy in Japan, where he is known as “Yon-sama” and where local media reported last year he and Koo would tie the knot.

The actor has not starred in a leading K-drama role since “The Legend” in 2007. KeyEast, which he set up, is home to Hallyu giant Kim Soo-hyun.
