Minnesota Twins’ Park Byung-ho picked up his first preseason hit and RBI in Florida on Thursday.

Park singled home a run in the bottom of the second inning against the Boston Red Sox starter Rick Porcello. It was Park’s second preseason start in as many days.

On Wednesday, Park, who signed with the Twins in the offseason, went 0-for-3 against the Red Sox, striking out all three times in 11 pitches.

The difference was that Park did not wait around to be in a position to be struck out. He came out very aggressive as he swung at the first pitch all three times, as he grounded out to shortstop and flew out to center in his two later at-bats.

Earlier in the day, Baltimore Orioles’ outfielder  Kim Hyun-soo went 0-3 for the third straight day, as the Orioles fell to the Tampa Bay Rays 10-3.

Opposing teams have been expecting Kim to hit the ball to the right side, shifting the defense to the right in the process, and Kim has yet to make them pay. He had flied out to the right first six times, struck out, then grounded out to the right side twice to remain hitless after three games.
