Sam Sung’s Apple business card going for over $80K on eBay
Apple had an employee named Sam Sung on its payroll for two years, the Internet has found.
It’s like someone named Pep Si choosing to work for Coca Cola, but after graduating marketing school, Sung worked at an Apple store in Vancouver’s Pacific Centre mall for two years starting September 2010.
Sung framed his old Apple business card, where the letters “Sam Sung” are printed above “specialist,” and put it on eBay. The bidding has surpassed $80,000 only after two days.
Sung will donate to charity the money raised by the business card and his other Apple items such as his old uniform.
“I enjoyed working for the company but decided to try something new. It was time to fall from the tree and roll away from the orchard,” Sung said about his decision to leave Apple.
He said his name was never a problem while for Apple.
Apple and Samsung, which ferociously compete in the market for mobile devices such as smartphones and tablet computers, are engaged lengthy intellectual property battle, each accusing the other of stealing its technologies.
