South Korean singer/entertainer Tak Jae-hoon, 46, was accused by his wife of carrying out affairs with three women. She filed a lawsuit for damages compensation.

According to Yonhap, Tak’s wife, Lee Hyo-rim, filed the suit at Seoul Family Court to collect about $50,000 from each of the three women.

Lee and Tak are in the midst of a divorce suit, which began in May last year.

Lee said Tak neglected his family to use hundreds of thousands of dollars on the women, Yonhap reported. She reportedly said Tak did not cease his affairs even while the divorce suit was underway.

Tak’s agency said Lee’s accusations are untrue. If he had really carried out affairs with three women, Lee would have reported him to police for adultery — a crime in South Korea punishable by jail time — and not in a civil suit, the agency said.

Tak debuted in the 1990s and was a member of popular duo Country Kko Kko. He rose as one of South Korea’s top television hosts in the 2000s and won KBS’s grand prize for entertainment in 2007.
