Recent missile attacks on Saudi Arabia have been traced back to missiles sold by North Korea to Yemeni rebels according to an intelligence official from South Korea.

Exporting arms is one of North Korea’s ways to generate capital outside its borders.

“North Korea has sold missiles to Yemen and sent missile engineers to that country in the 1990s,” a North Korean defected official told Yonhap on condition of anonymity.

The communist country is also in the midst of developing missile technology capable of carrying miniaturized nuclear warheads.

They have claimed on multiple occasions that they already have an arsenal ready to go. Whether they plan to hold onto them or deal them to outside groups is still unclear.
