Megan Fox heats up Seoul, says she loves gochujang

Megan Fox poses like a ninja turtle at a press conference about her new movie “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” at Hotel Shilla, downtown Seoul, Wednesday. Fox visited Seoul for four days to promote the movie. The actress, well-known for her appearance in the “Transformers” series, plays reporter April O’Neil in the upcoming movie. (Yonhap)

As it turns out, Megan Fox is a fan of Korean restaurants and gochujang.
Fox, who plays journalist Apri in the upcoming film “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,” attended a press conference held in Seoul Wednesday, Yonhap reported.
While answering questions, she commented on the large number of Korean restaurants in Los Angeles and said she frequents them as a fan of kimchi, gochujang, a spicy pepper paste, and gom tang, a Korean soup made with beef parts and bones.
Her recent visit to Korea marks her third time there.
She discussed her pregnancy, which she discovered three weeks into filming — rendering her unable to do action scenes — as well as her previous visits to the country in 2007 and 2009 for the “Transformers” franchise.
Fox said American fans ask her for autographs and photos but that Korean fans seem happy just shaking her hand.
Also present was director Jonathan Libesman, who said he has been a fan of the Ninja Turtles since his youth. The film saw success in the American box office upon its Aug. 8 release and has made $146 million as of Aug. 25, according to Box Office Mojo.
It will be released in Korea Thursday.
