Lee Jung-hoo stretches hitting streak to 7 games
May 2, 2025
Lee Jung-hoo of the San Francisco Giants has extended his hitting streak to seven games, continuing a solid start to his second Major League Baseball season.
Lee started in center field and batted third in the lineup against the San Diego Padres at Petco Park in San Diego, California, on Wednesday (U.S. time). He went 1-for-4 with an RBI, raising his season batting average to .319 with 37 hits in 116 at-bats.
Although his recent performances haven’t matched his hottest stretch, Lee has recorded at least one hit in each of the last seven games. His streak began with a three-hit game against the Milwaukee Brewers on April 24.
Despite Lee’s efforts, the Giants fell to the Padres 5-3, marking their second straight loss.
