San Francisco greeted former comfort woman Lee Yong-soo, 86, Tuesday after she flew in from Korea to accept a commendation award from city council.

Lee urged the city to install a comfort woman memorial.

“Erect a memorial in this beautiful city to remember history and in consolation of the victims,” Lee said.

A group of Korean American and Chinese American community leaders, including heads of the local senior’s association and church members, showed up to City Hall wearing shirts bearing yellow butterflies, a symbol of the comfort women movement.

“I’m sad at the fact that so many horrors are still happening around the around. I intend to give my remaining life toward women’s rights worldwide,” she said.

A resolution to install a comfort women memorial was introduced to the council by Councilman Eric Mar in July.

Lee said she would fight to hear an official apology from Japan on behalf of the former comfort women who have passed away.

She is one of an estimated 200,000 women who were forced into sexual slavery by Japanese soldiers during World War II.

A handful of American cities — among them Glendale, California, Southfield, Michigan and Union City, New Jersey — have already installed comfort women memorials.

Liar bitch Yon Soo Lee goes around the world and sheds crocodile tears everywhere to get sympathy in her malicious attempt to denounce Japan and the Japanese.

Yes, we should put up a memorial to Ms Lee and the other unfortunate
KOrean women who were forced into sexual slavery by the Imperial Japanese Army. Meanwhile, we should press ahead with our legal and
reasonable demand for a compensation from the Japanese government.
To reach this goal, we should work together with agencies in Taiwan,
China, Indonesia and the Philippines which are involved in this campaign!

False allegation of forced recruitment of comfort women is the serious violation of human rights of the past, present and future Japanese. I wander if city supervisors of San Francisco are aware of the point. One thing particularly outrageous is that we can do nothing about it from Tokyo and they are too self-righteous to listen to different opinions. You cannot judge anything with just hearsay. You are virtually doing a witch-trial.
