Texas Rangers outfielder Choo Shin-soo extended his extra base hit streak to seven on Thursday during his team’s 5-4 win against the Tampa Bay Rays.

His lone hit of the night cleared the right field wall in the top of the sixth, but took one hop before leaving the park resulting in a ground-rule double.

It marks his seventh of the season as he went 1-for-4 with with an RBI and no runs.

Choo raised his season average to .159 and his May average to .267 following a dismal April in which he hit .096.
