Actor Jung Woo-sung denies dating rumors

South Korean actor Jung Woo-sung denied rumors he is dating a thirtysomething Korean American woman, Korean media reported Thursday.

In earlier reports, Jung, 41, was said to have started seeing a woman whom he met while meeting with friends less than a year ago.

Red Brick House, his agency, told Star News Friday in Korea the rumors are false.

“Jung Woo-sung is extroverted and meets with friends often,” a spokesman said. “We think a misunderstanding got out of hand.”

The actor’s last public relationship was with actress Lee Ji-ah in 2011, which ended shortly after the revelation that Lee had been married to K-pop pioneer Seo Taiji.

Jung will star in the upcoming film “Don’t Forget Me,” slated for release this year.
