Golden State Warriors point guard and the two-time defending NBA MVP, Stephen Curry, is reported to sign the biggest deal in NBA history next free agency. Despite his current, underpaid, 4-year, $44 million contract, Curry has the chance make three times more and become the first NBA player ever to make over $200 million just from his NBA contract.

All this will be possible with the new collective bargaining agreement in the NBA, which will likely lead Curry and other superstar players to remain with their original teams, who can offer them more money than any other teams in the league. The agreement will allow players like Curry, a veteran to his team, to earn up to a stunning 35% of the team’s total salary cap! A recent report has stated that the Los Angeles Clipper’s all-star point guard, Chris Paul, has already verbally agreed to a max deal for the following season.

While this upcoming deal appears to be a golden chance for Curry, it has its consequences. By signing this enormous deal, Curry will jeopardize the stacked Golden State Warriors roster consisting of four all-star players, including Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green in addition to their veterans, Shaun Livingston and Andre Iguodala, who will become free agents next year as well.

Luckily for the Warriors fans and organization, however, Curry stated in his interview with ESPN that “It’ s what you’ve got and how you take care of it. And if I’ m complaining about $44 million over four years, then I’ve got other issues in my life.

“I know just playing basketball for a living, being able to provide for your family, doing what we do, that’s been an amazing kind of opportunity in itself. The game has been really good to me throughout my career. And I hope that continues. … I just try to keep the right perspective, that all that will come when it’s supposed to come.”

Only time will tell whether Curry will continue to build his dynasty in Golden State with his current stars or take the money and threaten the Warriors status as a championship contender. Whatever his choice may be, it will certainly impact the balance of power in the league for years to come.

yes..I like the basic concepts behind Second Life but it seems incredibly outdated and when I played it was intensely non-intuitive / user friendly to an extent that made EVE look like a game for toddlers. thanks from
